The Harry Vardon Program - One Student
Following in the steps of the PGA Tour, The Bill Madonna Golf Academy Staff would like to honor the late, great Harry Vardon by naming our Professional Program after one of the game’s professional pioneers. A member of the fabled Great Triumvirate in early 1900’s, along with John Henry Taylor and James Braid, Mr. Vardon won The U.S. Open in 1900 and was the only golfer to win The British Open a record six times. Upon his death in 1937, The PGA of America created The Vardon Trophy. It is awarded annually to the player on the PGA Tour with the year’s lowest adjusted stroke average. As a tribute to the Vardon Trophy, the Academy staff will strive to aid and assist each and every one of our professionals in meeting their goals. Whether they are embarking on a journey to play the PGA, LPGA, or Champions Tour or are trying to return to a championship caliber status, the Bill Madonna Golf Academy Vardon Program will offer premier instruction from our PGA certified instructors.
