The Bobby Jones Program - One Student
Robert Tyre "Bobby" Jones Jr. the consummate gentleman golfer. The name epitomizes who you think of when amateur golf is mentioned. The Bill Madonna Golf Academy would wish to humbly dedicate and honor Mr. Jones by naming our premier college player teaching program, The Bobby Jones Program. A main tenant of the Bobby Jones Program is letting the player understand that how he or she conducts themselves off the course is just as important as how he or she conducts themselves on the course. With Mr. Jones as our model, and under our staff supervision, we will instill our young players with his moral ethics and character traits. Even though Mr. Jones competed over three quarters of a century ago, his name will be forever woven into the fabric of this great game. His competitive record was highlighted by his 1938 Grand Slam win. He will always be remembered as the truest of gentlemen.
